Canmore cave tours is now my top recommendation for visitors to Canmore! The cave tours was like no other cave tour I have been on before with fun squeezes and beautiful formations. Our guide Emily was very knowledgeable and supportive through the hike and the caving. Highly recommend!

Wow...what an experience! I’ve explored caves in other countries before, but this was by far the most untouched and physically demanding cave I’ve ever visited. The hike up to the entrance was no problem, but my husband and I (both in our 60s) found the Explorer Tour quite challenging, with all the climbing, crawling, and squeezing through tight passages. It was a fabulous adventure though, and one I would highly recommend to anyone with hiking experience and a sense of adventure. A special thanks to Emily for being an excellent tour guide!

We booked the Explorer Tour for our family since it seemed like a unique and fun experience, especially for the kids. Canmore Caving did not disappoint! They enjoyed it so much that they are already planning on doing the Adventurer Tour! Our guide, Emily, was absolutely amazing! She was encouraging, friendly and fun! Emily assessed the skill level of the group and was able to keep it fun and interesting for the kids while allowing the adults some time to get through the caves. They offer a go-pro rental, which we opted into. We can't wait to receive the edited footage. It was a true caving experience so expect to get dirty. You will be crawling and climbing. Make sure you wear good shoes! The hike up is about a 30 minute uphill hike so be prepared for that. Emily gave us time and took breaks for the group to catch their breath. We highly recommend this experience!

Canmore Cave Tours takes you deep underground for a wild, undeveloped caving experience This isn’t your average “sightseeing” tour! You’ll crawl, climb, and explore your way through passages while learning about the cave’s incredible history! It’s year-round, rain or shine, and honestly one of the most unique experiences you can do in the area! If you want an adventure that pushes you a little, teaches you a lot, and leaves you saying “that was unreal”… this is your sign.

Adam and Gabrielle were excellent tour guides as we took the 4.5hr tour. It was challenging yet awe inspiring to say the least. Recommend to anyone who likes adventure, nature and some good friendship.
